China’s Belt and Road Initiative will boost ore exports

China’s One Belt, One Road policy, a signal of China’s positive response to countries around the world in the context of increasingly close global cooperation.

For example, the construction of the Western Railway Mining Line project in Algeria. The Western Railway Mining Line, with a total length of 575 kilometers, is an important project of the “One Belt, One Road” jointly built by China and Afghanistan. After completion, the Western Railway Mining Line will connect Algeria's mining areas, industrial areas and ports, which is of great significance to improving Algeria's national railway network and promoting economic and social development. As a supporting facility for the Gara Jabilet iron ore area, the Western Railway Mining Line will focus on freight, with an estimated annual transportation capacity of 40 million to 50 million tons, which will effectively promote Algeria's iron ore exports.
