Chinese electrolytic manganese flake exporters are expecting higher prices.
Chinese electrolytic manganese flakes recently experienced a brief rise followed by a subsequent decline in futures prices, as market demand did not respond to the upward trend. However, influenced by the recent domestic market price increase, the mainstream export price of electrolytic manganese 99.7% min has risen by $20/MT to $1,850-1,890/MT offshore China. Traders predict that prices will remain at high levels in the coming days.

Their most recent transaction was last week, selling 60 MTs at an offshore price of $1,870/MT. The trader stated, "Even if we could sell in large quantities, the price would not be lower." They remain optimistic about the market outlook and expect sales prices to rise in the coming days.
This trader trades about 400 MTs per month and currently holds about 1,000 MTs in inventory. Another trader in Chongqing revealed that they received inquiries at a price of $1,900/MT offshore China but did not reach any deals.
