1.In November 2023, imports of ferrosilicon increased by 22% month-on-month

-In November 2023, Japan's import volume of ferrosilicon was 35569 tons, a month-on-month increase of 22%, compared to 29168 tons in October 2023.

-Russia (11494 tons) and Malaysia (8060 tons) were the main exporting countries in November 2023.

2.Manganese alloy imports increased by 61% month-on-month in November 2023

-In November 2023, Japan's manganese alloy imports increased by 61% month-on-month, reaching 31911 tons, compared to 19805 tons in October 2023.

-The import volume of manganese iron surged from 1279 tons in October 2023 to 8282 tons in November 2023. Meanwhile, silicon manganese rose by 28% in November 2023.

3.In November 2023, imports of ferrochrome decreased by 78% month-on-month

-The import volume of ferrochrome in Japan decreased from 65099 tons in October 2023 to 14210 tons in November 2023, a month-on-month decrease of 78%.

-In November 2023, Kazakhstan (7871 tons) and Türkiye (2997 tons) are still the main exporters of ferrochrome in the country.
