Silicon manganese prices rise in eastern India

The increase in electricity prices in Durgabur has led to a rise in the market price of silicon manganese, causing steel mills to increase their inventory and resulting in a month on month increase in the domestic silicon manganese market price in India. The reason for the slight increase in prices is that the adjustment of electricity prices in the important production area of Durgapur has led to an increase in production costs.
