The price of ferrochrome in China has fallen

High carbon ferrochrome: The price remains in the range of 8650-8850 rmb/t (1196-1224 usd/t), a decrease of 100 rmb/t.

Medium carbon ferrochrome: The price hovers between 14000-14100 rmb/t (1963-1976 usd/t), a decrease of 200 rmb/t. All prices are ex factory prices, including taxes.

The reasons for the decline in the ferrochrome market are as follows:

1. The market price of raw material chrome ore is stable.

2. Stainless steel production has decreased, resulting in oversupply.

ferrochrome manufacturers are facing high cost pressures and low demand challenges. Considering these factors, it is expected that the ferrochrome market may remain stable in the short term.
