Japan: Ferrosilicon imports decreased by 19% year-on-year in September 2023

According to a survey by Hainan West Asia Group, in September 2023, Japan's imports of ferrosilicon decreased by 19% year-on-year to 273150 tons, compared to 337068 tons in September 2022.

China (74947 tons) and Russia (63061 tons) were the main exporting countries in September 2023.

The import volume of Japaneseferrosilicon in September 2023 increased by 36% year-on-year, reaching 27154 tons, compared to 20024 tons in August 2023.
